CHILD ACTION INITIATIVE NEWSLETTER         MARCH 18, 2012



In a previous newsletter we announced plans for a Child Action Initiative project to recruit members for a building team to construct a parsonage for Nazareth United Methodist Church, Kasungami, Democratic Republic of the Congo, June 15-30, 2012. A team has been organized and an Orientation Meeting for team members was held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge, North Carolina.

Approximately $6,000 is still needed for the Parsonage Building Material Fund to assure the parsonage can be completed.
